Büyükelçinin Mesajı

Friendly historic relations exist between Turkey and Poland for over 600 years. During our long history, living side by side in peace, developing commercial, cultural and social contacts and interactions between our people and countries since the beginning of our relations as well as the support given by Turks to the independence of Poland, are determinant factors of these relations.

Turkey and Poland, being two ancient states of Europe, have also the potential to further increase their importance and strength and are expected to play a predominant role in the future of the continent.

The friendly bonds which we inherited from our history oblige us to carry forward and develop our relations.

Turkey-Poland relations which have been enhanced to Strategic Partnership by the signing of the statement in 2009 started a new era in our bilateral relations. There exists mutual willto develop bilateral relations in all fields.

We will continue to work meticulously to develop and deepen the relations between our countries and to provide the best service to those calling on our Embassy as well as to represent Turkey in Poland in the best way possible.

Turkish citizens residing in Poland make important contributions to the bonds between the two countries. We wish that all our citizens continue their efforts towards this aim by keeping their unity and solidarity.

It is a great pleasure and honour for me to perform my duty as Ambassador in Poland which is an important country for both Turkey and the future of Europe.

On this occasion, I would like to greet all of you with respect and affectionand wish you the best.
