PRESS RELEASE FROM THE TURKISH EMBASSY IN WARSAW REGARDING THE FAILED COUP ATTEMPT IN TURKEY (16 JULY 2016)

Varşova Büyükelçiliği 17.07.2016

Yesterday, Turkey experienced a failed coup attempt to overthrow the democratically-elected government.

Turkish Armed Forces was not involved in the coup attempt in its entirety. It was conducted by a clique which is believed to have links with Fethullah Gulen Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) within the Armed Forces.

This attempt was foiled by the Turkish people and state in unity and solidarity.

Turkish State, President, Government and Parliament are in charge of the country.

Life in Turkey has been normalized as of today, including flight connections.

Those who have been involved in the coup attempt will be brought to justice.

Turkey has been trying to show the real face of this terrorist organization (FETÖ), namely the Gulen Movement, for a long time.

The failed coup attempt has shown that Gulen Movement is a threat against our national security and to the national security of all countries where they are present.
